This is a MacBook Pro
with 4 GB memory, Intel core 2 dual processor and NVIDIA GeForce Processor.
This MacBook achieved a score of 108 in regards to the RAM capability, with the
RAM speed reaching a 2687 MB/s. Both are very respectable scores and both would
give the user the adequate ability to use without problems but there may be
problems when running multiple programs. The next test was on the CPU in which it
achieved a score of 187. This is considerable better than the second computer
we tested on. The next tested feature was on the graphics card the test
achieved a 29 score with the 3d frames per second being 70 frames per second.
Lastly the hardware was tested achieving a score of 16. The last two tested
features are slightly below average but still significantly higher than the other
tested program.
This is a Windows XP
computer. This computer achieved a score of 57 in regards to the RAM
capability, with the RAM speed reaching an 886 MB/s. Both are quite poor scores
and both would give the user problems when running multiple programs this is
the opposite of the prior tested computer. The next test was on the CPU in
which it achieved a score of 187. This is considerably worse than the first
computer we tested on. The next tested feature was on the graphics card the
test achieved a 0 score and the 3d frames per second being 0 frames per second
as well. This is the worst score that can possibly be achieved. Lastly we
tested the hardware achieving a score of 5. The last tested feature is very below
average and is significantly lower than the MacBook’s tested program.
The MacBook achieved
considerably better results in comparison to the Windows PC with all four
tested features all being far greater than the distinctively poor Windows
computer. The Windows achieved 51 more score in regards to the RAM almost doubling
the score of the Windows computer, the next measured test was on the CPU
capability and the MacBook achieved a higher score of 78. The next tested
feature was the Graphics card with the Windows getting the lowest score with 0
and the MacBook achieving a score of 29 and as well as this the 3d capability
of the Windows was also 0 with the MacBook being70 frames per second. Lastly
the hardware on the windows achieved a score of 5 in comparison to the score of
16 from the MacBook.
